I'm embarassed to say how long it has been since my tile received a good scrubbing. Today I dusted off my trusty floormate and we tackled all the tile in the house. Aah, clean tile!

All Caught Up
I think I am all caught up! I updated the design too, so all you "Readers" check it out.
New Products
In high school my mom would buy me nice shampoos and conditioners, but I have never purchased them for myself. Lately I have been using the generic stuff from Costco. If you haven't seen me lately, my hair is down to my waist, and I decided if I want long hair, I need to take better care of it. So, with the last of my Christmas money I bought my favorite shampoo and conditioners, and I can already feel a difference in my hair. I won't always use these, but they will help get my hair a little healthier and when they are gone I won't be going back to the Kirkland stuff.

New Products (cont.)
For the last almost two years we have been struggling to get our stainless steel clean. We thought the cleaner would be really expensive, but we finally broke down, went to Walmart and bought this stuff. It was under 4 dollars and our appliances are now nice and shiny!

Tender Mercies
When Elder David A. Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles gave his second talk as an apostle, he spoke of the tender mercies of the Lord. When Ethan was a week or two old and I was struggling with not enough sleep and too many fears and nightmares about things going wrong with him, the Lord showed his tender mercy to me in the form of a dream. I had a very vivid dream in which I was kneeling down and a little blonde toddler (Ethan in my mind) was walking towards me. I stretched out my arms and said, "Can Mommy have a hug and kiss?" He smiled and immediately gave me a big hug. It was a great feeling, one I look forward to, and one that has helped me have peace during my not so peaceful times.

Mike's Bday Weekend
We had a few friends over for Mike's birthday. Ethan didn't make it through the preparations and we still haven't made it through the nacho cheese. Que bueno!
The next day we (mostly Mike) did a lot of yard work to get our gardens started. We planted flowers and a peach tree. Someday when we get rocks for the yard, it will look finished. :)

I Feel Like an Abegg!
I'm Convinced
Have you heard of Pandora Radio? I've been hearing about it for quite awhile, and today I finally tried it. It is just as cool as everyone has been saying. You go to pandora.com and type in an artist, song, or composer and it starts playing what you typed in as well as other similar songs and artists. As it plays songs you can indicate whether or not you like what is playing to help it choose songs that you like. Now whatever genre I am in the mood for, I can listen to, and I don't even have to own the music!
P.S. Sorry for all of the posts. There are only a day or two left of catch-up posts. :)

Couch to 5K
In an effort to have more variety in my workouts, I bought this jogging stroller on craiglist. I got a really good deal on it because the seat had a tear and the previous owner "can't sew.". I fixed it up today, and tonight Mike and I will start the couch to 5K program together!

Photo Shoot with Dad
This is the same hoodie!

Playing on the computer.

Same night, a nap and a meal later, on the computer again. If we sit on my exercise ball and bounce at the computer, he falls right to sleep.

Photo Shoots with Mom
Ethan LOVES standing on the bathroom counter and watching himself in the mirror. It is hard to get a good picture of it, and every picture has me with a silly face (trying to make him smile), but here is one of just him and one of his reflection.

It is very hard to eliminate pictures from a photo shoot, so here are a whole bunch of pictures Mike took of me and Ethan. Unfortunately, it took awhile to get the coloring right, but he's still cute!

I've had a few people tell me that they can't comment on my blog because they don't have an account. To make that easier for you, anyone can now comment.

Patience is a Virtue
Mike and I are constantly amazed at how patient Ethan is. This is where he plays everyday while I shower. Today he was pretty tired, so for a lot of the time he just laid there, arms and legs spread. He moved to this position when he saw me get the camera.

Grammy's House
Night Owl
Ethan LOVES staying up late. We are trying really hard to get him to go to bed earlier (than 11), but some nights are more successful than others.
Pick me, pick me!

When he started the night, he was tightly swaddled. Every morning his arms are out, and notice how he has managed to push is leg through harness despite the swaddle.

These pictures were taken through a crack in the door while he was "sleeping."
It appears as though he is looking at me, but he isn't, he is just staring off into space and doesn't know I'm there.

Start the Catch Up
I am quite behind on my posts, but rather than putting up a ton of pictures all at once, I will be posting once or twice a day this week.
Here are some cute pictures of Ethan in his Bumpo. I wish I could show you a picture of Ethan right now! He is sitting on my lap while I type with one hand resting on each of mine--funny kid!

Ethan is very into his feet--especially when I change him. This was two weeks ago, so he gets his feet much more quickly now.
