One last swim for the year at the end of October. They didn't last long.
Ethan saved his money and asked for gift cards for his birthday so he could get a huge Ninjago Temple set. I am writing this in January and he isn't done yet, but he is getting close.
Asher's Kids Klub "teacher" made Halloween fun.
Ethan really wanted to be Captain America for Halloween and Benton wanted to be Groot. I like group costumes, so we are all Marvel characters. Asher is Rocket Raccoon and at the last minute on Halloween I came up with an Agent Carter costume. I'm glad someone suggested it because the only Marvel ladies I could come up with in a Google search did not wear enough clothes for me to put together an outfit.
Halloween is so fun at this age. We thought we'd have to go to another neighborhood, but just going around the block filled up their buckets. I carried the big boys' buckets, but Asher managed to carry his throughout the evening. He would use his leg to help bump it along. Asher was very cute about saying thank you at every house and he wouldn't leave until they said "you're welcome". He isn't always easy to understand, so sometimes we had to prompt people. At least once or twice he stood there with his bucket up until they gave him seconds.
Sarah always does a Halloween ride in cycle, and a few of us joined in on the fun this year.
When we realized the picture of all of us was blurry, we retook it with who was left.
