A picture is worth a thousand words, so how I wish we had a waterproof camera! We went to my mom's pool again today and stayed for an hour and a half before Ethan got too cold (it was 630). He put his toy snakes on the step and even when they were on the very shallow step, he would put his face in the water to get them. Of course he spent a lot of time jumping in, and is really starting to spring up and out as he does.
Tonight he also started "swimming" on his own. He had arm floaties on, and he would launch himself off of one of us or the steps, lay flat with his face down in the water, and kick to someone else (or the steps) 5-7 feet away. He would then immediately turn around and do it again. He must have done that for AT LEAST 30 min straight.
