I'm still trying to squeeze in workouts, which requires some creativity. Here I am using a boppy pillow to pad the heavy dumbbell that is taking the place of a barbell.

James and Ruth did an awesome job planning a cake war based on the Nailed It! show. The 3 oldest kids worked together to make fondant cake. I worked with the 6 year olds, and Lisa worked with the 4 year olds.
The Christensens have made us feel so welcome! They even bought a second set of bunk beds. The boys all sleep here in the "barracks".

Seabreeze! I love seeing the age mates couple up and play all the time.
I asked these two to give each other a hug. Rosemary turned it more into a tackle. They hit the ground right after this picture.
On Thursday we tried to go to Build A Bear's Pay Your Age day. We got there before the store opened, saw the line, and decided it wasn't worth it. Of course, while we made a stop at the bathroom, Benton wandered off. By the time we found him and everyone had used the bathroom, the stop took us 45 minutes.e
We went from the mall to the Canada side of Niagara Falls!
We had to walk about a mile each way to the boat tour. It was a constant, "2, 4, 6, 7...2, 4, 6, 7" to make sure we had everyone.
Asher was tired the whole time and on the verge of meltdown. When we got close to the car, I let him melt down rather than continue to negotiate. He was asleep within two minutes of us leaving.
On Thursday we hiked Grimes Glen. At the last hike the kids really wanted to go in the water, but that was prohibited, so Lisa planned a hike that did allow us to be in the water. The kids loved it.
These two crashed right away on the drive home.
After coming home to rest, we loaded up to go to the Hill Cumorah Pageant. First, we stopped for ice creams, which were humongous! While waiting for the pageant to start, the kids all played in the grass.
The production value in this performance was really impressive. Asher sat on my lap the whole time and kept asking me if Jesus was real or an actor and if he was dead or alive and when he would come back.
Saturday was a low key day to recover from the late nights and activities. Plus, Lisa was photographing a wedding and I went along for part of it to be a second shooter.
The cousins are still having a blast playing together.
